GET £1,000 TRAINING GRANT FOR YOUR BUSINESS

Leadership and Management training for SMEs* in London

Executive Solutions (Training) Ltd has joined forces with a Train to Gain Broker to help small and medium size businesses in London access a training grant of £1,000.

Each business in London with 5 – 250 employees is eligible to receive the first £500 as a grant for training to strengthen business leadership and management skills. A further £500 as matched funding is available to businesses if the training they require costs more than £500. This means each business can get up to £1,500 worth of training from their contribution of £500. 

Business can use their £1,000 grant for a wide range of training to strengthen management and leadership skills among senior staff with strategic responsibility in the business.  Training includes 1:1 coaching or mentoring, delivery to teams, two-hour or one-day training courses. Through Executive Solutions (Training), you can select one or more of the following courses:

• Motivating Successful Teams

• Effective Communication Skills

• Presentation skills for business pitches

• Customer service for increased competitiveness

• Time management

• Interviewing skills for business owners and managers

• Communicating Financial Information to Non-financial Managers and Directors

• Assertiveness

• Conflict management in the workplace

• Public speaking for business owners and managers

TRAIN TO GAIN GRANT FUNDING

London Leadership and Management Specialist Advisory Service

If you run a business in the London region employing between 5 and 250 people, a new service is available to help you develop your leadership and management skills. The service covers all sectors and is funded by the Learning and Skills Council to give you:

• A free analysis of your leadership and management skills, highlighting your strengths and areas for development
• A training grant of £500 to help you address those areas
• A further £500 grant for training for yourself and/or your senior team provided you match £ for £

Giving you the skills you need

Your individual analysis can be carried out on-line or face-to-face. A Leadership and Management Specialist Adviser will then talk you through the results and use their expertise to suggest approaches and solutions designed to suit your learning style, time restraints and location.

Training can include 1:1 coaching or mentoring and can be for development of general management skills. Not supported are sector-specific training or mandatory programmes.
