This one-day workshop is designed to give you practical tools and insights into how you can improve your communication skills and be more effective in a range of business situations; from winning new clients to motivating teams, and  from strengthening your personal brand to achieving a positive image. • Communication with your voice and body – tone, clarity and body language
• Enhancing team interaction and effective engagement with clients – interpersonal skills
• Umm, Ah, Err! – dealing with empty fillers and distracting mannerisms
• Handling difficult and complex questions confidently
• Understanding and applying the art of active listening and the power of pauses

Approach to training

Action based and interactive learning approaches will be used during the workshop. These include use of case studies, group work, handouts and DVDs/audio resources.

About the Trainer

Veronica Broomes, a Communication Skills trainer and Facilitator, works with people from public, private and voluntary sector organisations and business owners. Her experience over 15 years of working with national and international organisations laid the foundation for the ease with which she works with senior executives, technical specialists, policy makers and entrepreneurs across sectors.
